Dexter Morgan is driven to kill to satisfy an inner voice he calls “the Dark Passenger.” When that voice can no longer be ignored, he “lets the Dark Passenger do the driving.”
DarkPassenger.com is a fansite devoted to the character of Dexter Morgan across all media he may appear: the Showtime tv series, the Dexter novel series by Jeff Lindsay, the Marc Ecko video game, and any further incarnations.
DarkPassenger will strive to present the latest news on all things Dexter.

Check out the embedded clip below, to hear Dexter describe the Dark Passenger in his own words, in an amazing speech from season 2.
“I’m Dexter, and I’m…not sure what I am.
I just know there’s something dark in me. I hide it. I certainly don’t talk about it. But it’s there. Always.
This dark passenger.
And when he’s driving, I feel…alive. Half sick with the thrill, complete wrongness. I don’t fight him. I don’t want to. He’s all I’ve got. Nothing else could love me, not even, especially not me.
Or is that just the lie the dark passenger tells me? Because lately, there are these moments when I feel…connected to something else, someone.
And it’s like the mask is slipping…
and things…
people…
who never mattered before, are suddenly starting to matter.
It scares the hell out of me.”
